WASHINGTON, D.C. — Certified yoga instructor Vidyuth Sreenivasan has been officially contracted by the Embassy of India to teach online yoga classes via Zoom. These sessions are designed to make authentic, therapeutic yoga accessible to participants within the jurisdiction of the Embassy of India (Washington DC).

The weekly class schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesdays: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET

  • Thursdays: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET

  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET

With a professional teaching background in Washington, D.C., since January 2024—including classes at the YMCA on 14th St and W—Vidyuth brings a wealth of expertise to his students.

He completed his rigorous teacher training program in 2017 at the renowned Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) in Chennai, the historic birthplace of Viniyoga.

These online classes are beginner-friendly and specially structured around the Viniyoga approach, focusing on foundational postures, breathwork (pranayama), and gentle movement. The practice emphasizes "function over form," making it an ideal, sustainable choice for adults seeking to improve mobility, manage everyday stress, and support healthy aging without the strain of high-intensity workouts.
